What Busby + H-Bear Wore // Happyology

happyology reviewA few weeks ago we were invited to the opening of the beautiful new Happyology store in Brighton. Unfortunately we weren’t down in Sussex that week, so I couldn’t attend, but we were sent some gorgeous clothes from their stunning range for the children.

I’ve been yearning to shoot at this warehouse ever since we moved to East Yorkshire last April. I walk past here almost every day, and each time I think “This would be the perfect location for a kid’s style shoot!”. So we headed there last Sunday, when the warehouse would be empty and closed, to have some fun in our Happyology wear!

Happyology is classic and comfortable clothing with a modern edge, for babies, toddlers and children aged 0-7. Based in my homeland of Brighton, they are inspired by their vibrant, eclectic surroundings, as well as vintage baby clothes and children’s stories.

Established in 2014, Happyology are a young company with previous experience in manufacturing and design. They believe that kids need clothing to be versatile, to take them from playground to parties, and keep up with their movement!

Happyology’s mission is to create quality clothing for babies and children with playful details and that has timeless appeal, and I think that they most certainly succeed.

H-Bear was sent a stunning star sweatshirt and a super soft fleece-lined denim jacket.

The star sweatshirt is made from 100% cotton and is beautifully soft. The poppers on the shoulder mean it’s easy to remove, and it washes so well.

I love the contrasting blue and red stars – they’re so vibrant and funky!

happyology reviewEveryone has commented on how gorgeous this sweater is – and the best part is that it’s in the Happyology sale for only £14!!!

H-Bear’s denim jacket is divine. It’s so cosy with a fleece lining, making it the perfect transitional item for spring! It’s definitely coming to Italy with us this week.

happyology review

It’s a loose cut too, meaning that it’s ideal for adding an extra layer on chilly days.

happyology review

H-Bear loves to be cosy, and he’s been very toasty in this beautiful coat! The denim jacket is only £20 in the Happyology sale, and I’m very tempted to buy him a bigger size to see us through next autumn/winter too!

Busby was sent a gorgeous pair of grey leggings and a denim cardigan, so both children have been half-twinning in Happyology denim!

The leggings are made from cotton jersey, and are very soft to touch. They’re the perfect item of clothing for playing in, as they’re comfy and don’t restrict movement.

happyology review

Busby wears age 3-4, and they’ve got lots of growing room!

happyology review

The grey leggings cost £8.

The denim cardigan is absolutely stunning, and I wish they made them in my size! It’s made from stretch cotton jersey with a denim effect, and has the most divine floral lining!

happyology review

The crew neck is so on trend at the moment, and the buttons up the front make it versatile for different seasons. This cardigan has instantly become a favourite piece of mine in Busby’s wardrobe, and she loves it too!

happyology review

The denim-effect cardigan costs £22 in the Happyology sale.

The quality of all of the items the children have been sent is fantastic, and I’ve been so impressed with the Happyology brand. Happyology are ideal if you want stylish, versatile, well-made play wear.

Pop over to the Happyology website to shop all of the items featured in this post, and to gaze and lust over even more beautiful children’s clothes (the new Coast to Coast collection is divine)!

Love the cardigan. Looks very comfortable.
Fleece wouldn’t be for us now though. My kids would be sweating in it winter or not unfortunately.
