Review // Penguin Baby Bib from Make My Day
Whether you’re doing baby-led weaning or you’re spoon feeding, weaning is a mucky business! So when H-Bear was offered a bib to review from Make My Day we couldn’t resist; we’ve been on the look-out for a catch-all bib as have mostly been using tea towels and muslin squares up until now!
Make My Day are based in the US, and have a gorgeous, fun selection of weaning bibs, which can be purchased via Cheeky Rascals in the UK. There are 16 designs to choose from, and we originally opted for the Scholar bib in blue as thought H-Bear would look adorable in it. Sadly it had sold out, so our next choice was the super cute penguin design, and we haven’t been disappointed!
Made from 100% food-grade BPA free silicone, the bibs are super soft, stain resistant and dishwasher safe (which is always a bonus in my books!) They clean up beautifully, and are ideal for every day use.
I love that there’s a built in food catcher for messy eaters. H-Bear rather likes this feature too, as it means not everything falls on the floor and he can have a quick root around for food he’s missed! (Leading to a very interesting combination of flavours at times…)
The bib has adjustable straps, which means it will fit from around 6 months until approximately 3 years. It seems very comfortable, and gives a great amount of coverage.
It also folds up perfectly to pop in the changing bag for eating out!
The Penguin Baby Bib from Make My Day costs £14.99, and is available to buy from the Cheeky Rascals website. It has become an essential in our house… and our washing pile has decreased from the lack of repurposed muslin squares and tea towels!
