Review // Making a house a home with PhotoBox

PHOTOBOX REVIEWWhen we completed on our house last April I was almost 8 months pregnant and very eager to get nesting! We had quite the redecorating task ahead of us, and some of you may remember seeing photos of me up step ladders methodically stripping wallpaper!

Well, we got the house into a liveable state, and then H-Bear arrived, and since then life has been a sleep deprived haze… It’s only now that we’re starting to make the house a home, so when the lovely folk at Photobox got in touch and asked us whether we’d be interested in reviewing some of their products I couldn’t resist!

I chose some gorgeous canvases for our family room.

PHOTOBOX REVIEW

I loved the idea of a set of three on the wall opposite our patio doors, and thought these square 8″ x 8″ canvases were fab.

I chose three of my favourite images from our recent trip to Filey beach, which I’d posted on Instagram. It was such an easy process to grab them off Instagram and load them into my Photobox account!

PHOTOBOX REVIEW

I’ve been wanting this image of Nick and Busby on a canvas ever since I took it last summer, and it goes wonderfully in our kitchen! The canvas is 24″ x 16″, and fits perfectly on the wall below our mixer!

PHOTOBOX REVIEW

I love these retro-style prints of my Instagram photos! I decided to string them up with little pegs to create a gallery in our family room.

PHOTOBOX REVIEW

It’s a gallery that’s easy to change as the children grow, and I think looks rather lovely.

PHOTOBOX REVIEW

I ordered 41 prints, which were 30p each, and the price per print decreases the more you order.

Finally, I’ve been after a Mama Bear mug for a while, so when I saw that I could make a personalised mug on the Photobox website I couldn’t resist!

It also matches our family room perfectly!

All of the items we were sent are good quality, and the print quality is lovely and clear.

As I kept adding items to my basket, the postage was getting more and more expensive, as they charge per item because each item comes in a different delivery method. But because our basket was over £30 we received free delivery. Delivery was amazingly fast too – with the canvases arriving two working days after I’d placed my order.

Photobox have regular offers on, so items that may seem expensive are actually quite reasonable, and usually buying in larger quantities reduces the price, so if you have an epic photo order to make then I’d recommend Photobox!

I need to order some copies of our wedding photos for the lounge next, and also some shots of the children for the stairs; I will definitely be using Photobox to get them printed, as I’ve been really impressed with the service.

The square canvases cost £6 each, the large canvas of Nick and Busby costs £26.49, the retro style prints were 30p each and the mug was £9. All of the above items would make fantastic gifts for family members, and are very competitively priced.

Pop on over to the Photobox website to see what offers are on today!

Love the string of retro photos. I’ve been wanting to do something similar for ages but never get around to getting my photos ordered. Plus I once ordered a shed load from boots and the quality was horrendous so I’ve been put off ordering online since that, however Photobox sounds great. Might give them a whirl.

Oh no Franki! Well the Photobox ones have been great quality! In fact I was just thinking about ordering some more Insta snaps as they have a good offer on at the moment xx
