What Busby + H-Bear Wore // Seaside Chic from Rockin’ Baby

Rockin Baby Review

I hadn’t heard of Rockin’ Baby previously, but they’re an amazing, inspiring charity:

In partnership with ChildFund International, for every piece of clothing sold from the Rockin’ Baby S/S16 collection, an item from their ‘Hero’ collection will be gifted to a child in need from 30 countries, including West Africa; providing vital clothing for children.

Rockin’ Baby’s aim is to reach out to millions of children across the world, donating clothes to those less fortunate. From sales already taken, and orders already placed, Rockin’ Baby is on target to donate 250k of clothing in the next 12 months… which is pretty amazing!

You can find out more about the Mother to Mother charity here – it’s an inspiring read.

Rockin’ Baby have recently started making children’s clothes, as well as their amazing slings and pouches – and have already won awards for their range.

We’re off to Italy on holiday next week, so we were asked to choose some clothes from their gorgeous spring/summer range to get us in the holiday mood! Obviously I couldn’t wait until we got back to share the lovely clothes…!

I opted for this beautiful nautical dress for Busby.

The dress is made from 100% cotton, and is super soft against her skin. I love the vibrant contrasting yellow trim with the blue of the dress.

It’s a sleeveless dress, but I’ve added a simple white tee underneath in the shots to keep her warmer, as it’s still spring here!

The nautical pattern is so beautiful; I especially love the waves which have a slight art-deco-esque feel to them.

The tier style of the dress makes it great for moving about in – or in Busby’s case – running in!! It will be perfect on holiday to pop over a swimming costume for extra coverage by the pool.

Busby is wearing age 3-4, which is true to size.

For H-Bear, I chose these gorgeous ‘Elmer-style’ patchwork leggings, and appliquéd sandcastle tee.

I opted for size 9-12 month leggings, which are rather on the small size in length, but I was glad to see that there is ample bottom space for a cloth nappy!

The leggings are made from 100% cotton, and are perfect for crawling around in.

The sandcastle t-shirt is wonderful and vibrant! I love the contrasting blue trim with the yellow of the tee. The appliquéd sand castle is gorgeous too – and perfect for a trip to the beach – or a play in the sand pit.

The t-shirt has poppers on the shoulder for easy removal.

All of the items we’ve been sent from Rockin’ Baby make ideal play wear. They’re comfortable to move in and wash well; I’ve been really impressed with the quality.

I don’t have prices for the above items as they are not available to buy yet, but will be in the next few weeks. The SS16 range starts from £10.

In the meantime, Rockin’ Baby have a rockin’ sale on – so grab yourselves some bargains on the Rockin’ Baby website.
