Interiors // My Rug Store Wish List

my rug store wish listSince we bought our house last year I have developed a little bit of an obsession for all things rug. I think it has something to do with our beautiful wooden floorboards that Nick lovingly sanded and painted before we moved in. I am desperate not to ruin them, and rugs are the perfect protector!

I also have a penchant for walking barefoot on new rugs. Especially scrumptiously soft, fluffy ones… And I rather prefer sitting on the floor, as opposed to a sofa, which harks back to my pregnancy days where I couldn’t actually sit on the floor for fear of getting stuck!

So yes, rugs are really rather wonderful.

After searching for hours online I discovered My Rug Store and their great choice of rugs and runners. They have so many gorgeous rugs, and I couldn’t choose just one so I’ve compiled a little wish list.

If you love these rugs as much as I do, you can click on the images to visit the My Rug Store online shop:

Rainbows

These two rugs really caught my eye, and would be perfect in Busby’s weather-themed room, or in our playroom/family room. The colours are so bright and vibrant.

Yellows

Regular readers will know that I love yellow A LOT, so these two rugs really appealed. They’d be ideal with my yellow arm chair in our lounge! In fact the teal and yellow rug would match everything in our lounge.

Greys

We have lots of grey tones in our house, and I think this rug would be amazing in the lounge! It’s super shaggy, so perfect for curling up on next to the fire in winter.

Nursery

Finally, I’ve been on the hunt for a rug for H-Bear’s room to go next to his cot once we’ve turned it into a cotbed. There’s nothing quite like putting your feet on a cosy rug first thing on a cold morning, and this rug would go beautifully with the colour scheme in his room.
