What H-Bear Wore // Baby MORI

Baby Mori ReviewI’ve followed (and admired) Baby MORI on Instagram for a while now, so when H-Bear was offered an outfit from their beautiful range of clothes I was over the moon!

MORI was born of two uncles who decided to create a new range of reasonably priced, organic cotton items for babies when they struggled to find anything similar on the market for their nieces and nephews.

MORI is Japanese for forest and is a subtle nod to the purity of nature. Our inspiration comes from Scandinavian and Japanese concepts that focus on natural aspects paired with sleek styles, which compliment the environment. Protecting the world is as vital to us as protecting your baby & that’s why we use bamboo and organic cotton, as it’s soft like cashmere, anti-bacterial, breathable and sustainable. We always want you to feel your baby is in secure & snug hands with us. – Cam & Akin.

I chose H-Bear this beautiful grey cardigan and coordinating yoga pants in grey and white.

They arrived in the most gorgeous presentation box, hand-wrapped in tissue paper that made me squeal with excitement when opening (I have a bit of a thing about packaging).

The first thing that struck me about the items is how soft they were. Made from bamboo and organic cotton, they really are divinely soft, and I felt quite envious that H-Bear gets to wear these and not me! They’d be absolutely ideal for delicate newborn skin, and what a stunning gift they would make!

H-Bear isn’t a toddler who lounges much any more, but I pop these garments on him if we’re having a chilled out day at home as they’re perfect for relaxing around the house in. Also, as the evenings and mornings grow colder, I’m sure we’ll be using the cardigan even more than we are already for snuggly pre-bedtime reads and chilly morning cuddles.

The popper fastening on the front of the cardigan is very useful, as it means you don’t have to faff around with buttons while baby wants to be off exploring! Plus it’s quick to remove when required.

Both items wash well and retain their softness wash after wash.

For sizing, the garments are true to size. H-Bear is wearing size 18-24 months in the trousers, which still have a fair amount of growing room. He wears 12-18 months in the cardigan, which fits perfectly (he’s almost 15 months old).

The Baby MORI cardigan costs £20 and the joggers are £17.50. As I’ve said above, they really would make the most perfect gift for a newborn, Christmas (which is swiftly approaching), or even a first birthday. You can view the whole range on the Baby MORI website.

I’ll have to check out MORI, the outfit looks really comfy and nice neutral colours. I love bamboo cotton, it is an extra soft fabric, so soft! x

The clothing is lovely and perfect as you say for a chill out day. I love how simple but gorgeous these items are. Popper buttons are also so useful at that age too! Angela
