What the Children Wore // Lemonade Bubbles
Tutus. Cosmic. Pompoms. Three words that sum up gorgeous children’s wear brand Lemonade Bubbles.
Lemonade Bubbles is a fantastic, fun children’s clothing brand born from a love of colour, creativity and fancy dress. They design their garments in London, and travel around the world (and to LOTS of festivals) spreading their colourful magic! All of the items make perfect playwear and are ethically made.
Busby was sent a stunning “You are my sunshine” pompom tutu skirt in blue. The tutu costs £23.
The skirt is beautifully made. I love that the pompoms are inside the skirt so they can’t be grabbed and pulled off by little hands (H-Bear!). It also means that they move and bounce around inside the skirt as Busby moves, which is lovely.
The elasticated waist is ideal for independent dressing, and the skirt is perfect for twirling!
The tutu skirt is machine washable, which is fantastic for our curious little explorer who loves to climb and get muddy!
H-Bear and Busby were each sent a “I’m a cosmic little thing” kids tee. The tees cost £11 each and are 100% cotton.
They are vibrant and fun, and I love the colourful “I’m a cosmic little thing” across the front.
The sizing is true to size. Busby wears a tee in age 3-4 and a skirt in size small, and both garments fit perfectly. H-Bear is wearing a tee in age 2-3 (there were no 1-2 years left in stock), and although rather baggy, looks pretty awesome on! In actual fact, I captured this shoot during one of the hottest days of the year, and the over-sized tee kept him nice and cool!
The above items can be found on the Lemonade Bubbles website, as well as lots of beautiful kids clothes… I have my eye on the stargazer romper for H-Bear next – it’s rather divine!
