What the Children Wore // Mini Rodini from DapperBaby

mini rodini dapper babyAs a children’s fashion addict, I eagerly await each season drop like a child on Christmas Eve… (Who am I kidding?! Like ME on Christmas Eve!!) So when the lovely Emma from DapperBaby asked me whether we’d be interested in featuring some gorgeous pieces from Mini Rodini’s AW16 collection on my Instagram feed and blog, I squealed with joy!

Emma created DapperBaby as she loved dressing her babies in playful, funky, high-quality clothing (I know the feeling!), and every season and range is handpicked by her team.

Busby and H-Bear were each sent a statement piece from Mini Rodini’s divine deer collection and I instantly fell in love! I mean, look at these items – who wouldn’t?!

The organic cotton fabric is silky soft, and would be ideal for newborn or delicate skin.

The deer print is wonderfully kitsch and appeals to my vintagesque tastes. You can see how it’s been Mini Rodini’s most popular print this season. It’s so clear and vibrant, and stays so wash-after-wash.

Busby’s dress is perfect for autumn and winter with its long sleeves. The skirt is rather twirly too, which she loves! I’ve teamed the dress with a pair of footless tights from Boden for this shoot, which I think work well and will look so cute with a pair of boots this winter.

H-Bear’s romper suit is awesome! It’s not something I’d usually dress him in during the day, but actually I think he’s going to rock it with a pair of wellies and a coordinating cardigan.

Both items are easy to move in, and therefore ideal playwear… as you can see from the slightly insane photo above of my children charging!

Sizing wise, Busby wears age 4-5 years and H-Bear wears 9-18 months. I’d say that the sizing is pretty much true to size – both garments have growing room, but fit nicely now as well.

Busby’s dress costs £42 and H-Bear’s romper £34, and both can be found on the DapperBaby website.

You lucky lucky bean you! I am such a MR fan. Have been for years. And so far I’ve not been able to afford to buy anything from the new season. Which I could almost cry about. I love this print! It’s just beyond cute. Love! X

Oh lucky kids, what a gorgeous print – I love that they’ve added a bit of purple to it, it just brightens it all a bit compared to previous years’ yellow/cream/black prints
