Painting is Busby’s favourite activity at home, at Preschool, at Grandparent’s houses… Well, it’s her favourite activity wherever she is. She brings home pictures daily, and whenever we’re having a quiet day, the first thing she asks to do is painting and/or drawing.
The Works are our go-to for arts and crafts supplies, so I’ve compiled a wish list below of items Busby is eager to try. With less than 90 sleeps to go, Father Christmas might have already ordered a copious amount of goodies from The Works. I must admit that I’m most excited about the dinosaur painting kit arriving… I’m not sure Father Christmas will be able to wait until December for that to be opened (I hear he likes dinosaurs).
Anyway, I digress… here’s the wish list!
- Sponge Alphabet and Poster Paint set – £6. This set looks like so much fun! Would be a great way to discuss the alphabet and learn letters and/or spelling too. // 2. Set of 10 finger paints with stamps – £2. I think these look like great fun – Busby would love the stamps on top, and H-Bear would be all over the finger painting action… // 3. Texture Brush – 50p. I’m so curious about this! Busby would have a great time painting with it, and I’d probably have a go too.
1. The Secret Life of Pets Sticker Paradise – £1.50. “Sticker Paradise” is such a tempting title…! Love the look of this – hopefully it has enough stickers to keep Busby entertained for at least an hour. // 2. Assorted Adhesive Alphabet Stickers – £1. Another great way to encourage spelling and alphabet learning. // 3. 200 Assorted Adhesive Shapes – £1. We buy these frequently and they’re always a big hit! Fantastic for making cards too.
Miscellaneous Crafting Joy
1. Fairy Door – £2. This was one of the first things I popped in my basket. Busby is going to be over the moon with it, as she’s very interested in fairies at the moment, and we always have to look for fairy doors in trees on our walks. // 2. Big bag of crafting – £6. This looks amazing! // 3. Paint your own Dinosaurs Kit – £7. I honestly cannot contain my excitement about this kit! It looks fantastic!
I could have chosen most things from the arts and crafts section on The Works website for this post… I also took advantage of the 10 children’s books for £10 offer which is running at the moment – great for stocking fillers, family friend presents, or even if you’re doing a book advent calendar this year!
