What the Children Wore // Bear & Babe Part 2
A few weeks ago I wrote this post introducing you all to the wonderful new Yorkshire childrenswear brand Bear & Babe.
Bear & Babe is owned and run by fabulously talented mum of two, Mary, who lives in Sheffield. She makes every garment herself – with love and perfection sewn into every stitch.
The Bear & Babe ethos is very simple – handmade, colourful, fun, stylish garments that are as individual as your children, whilst being soft and easy to wear. Mary chooses fabrics and designs that children will love, as well as parents. The majority of her clothes are gender neutral – as you will see in this post.
As well as the amazing Bat Mask outfits, the children were also sent an item each from the Geo Rainbow range. This range is what first caught my eye on Bear & Babe’s Instagram account so, as you can imagine, I was very excited to unwrap these beauties!
Busby was sent a pair of harem leggings and H-Bear a harem romper.
The Geo print is so bright and vibrant, with a plethora of beautiful colours. I love dressing H-Bear in clothes with pops of pink because he suits it so well, so this dunga-romper is ideal for him! It’s so easy to style with too, as there are so many colours to choose from.
Both items are handmade from a thick stretch jersey OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabric, which is very soft and comfy. The garments make the most perfect playwear for colder seasons – the children have loved running, climbing and puddle jumping in these clothes!
H-Bear’s harem romper is size 18-24 months. It’s a bit on the big side, but length-wise fits well!
Busby’s harem leggings are size 4-5 years, which fit perfectly.
The harem leggings start from £12.50 and the rompers from £18. Both items can be found on the Bear & Babe Etsy page! Mary has just released a divine Christmas collection – so pop on over if you’re looking to support a fantastic independent business this Christmas!
