A Lively Style // Cath Kidston Kids SS17 Wishlist
Nick can always tell when the new Cath Kidston Look Book has arrived: I squeal in excitement, make myself a cup of tea and settle down on the sofa for five minutes of pure pattern-lusting joy.
The SS17 book arrived yesterday morning and I enjoyed a short break from work to peruse through it. There are A LOT of gorgeous new things – including this awesome buggy bag! Such a fantastic idea for shopping!
However, today I’m going to be discussing childrenswear.
Cath Kidston’s children’s clothes really are some of the most beautiful on the market. Both children have had some lovely pieces over the years. The quality is fantastic too, so unisex pieces like this gorgeous rabbit sleepsuit have been handed down from Busby to H-Bear (and are in the attic waiting for a possible third bundle). I think we have this one in about three different sizes!
The new SS17 Girls clothing collection is stunning, and I thought I’d share a few of my favourite pieces with you.
1. London Streets Dress (£24). Busby would LOVE this dress… and I haven’t shown it to her yet as I know it will be met with “Mummy, can you buy it for me please?”
2. Daisy Sprigs Dress (£24). Isn’t it pretty? It would look absolutely adorable styled with the above cardigan and a pair of mint green or soft pink plimsols.
3. Welham Flowers Dress (£24). Oh goodness, this dress is divine! It has a Liberty-esque feel to it which I LOVE! It’s currently out of stock in Busby’s size, which is probably a blessing as it would have been added into my basket along with the buggy bag otherwise.
4. Print Knit Cardigan (£28). I love this soft green shade, as it’s so versatile (and also doesn’t show up ALL the dirt!). The little stitched roses are a beautiful touch.
Sadly, I’ve got nothing to share from the Boys section. I’ve been a little bit disappointed with the Boys range so far – the Baby range is adorable and items such as these Guard dungarees would work well up to age 3, but unfortunately they stop at 12-18 months.
Which is your favourite print from the new range? Or do you wish Cath Kidston would bring back one of their past prints?
*This is not a collaborative post – I just love Cath Kidston and thought you might too!*
