What the Children Wore // Little Cloud Company
“I’m the King of the Castle! And you’re the Dirty Rascal!”
Above is a little song I hear regularly when the children are playing together. So, when I came across the Little Cloud Company’s SS17 collection, I knew Busby would LOVE it!
Little Cloud Company is run by two mums – Rosie and Rhiannon. They are friends with two children a piece, who work together part-time at a school. Little Cloud Company was launched in April 2016, thanks to their love of tie-dye. This season has seen an expansion into printed t-shirts, and this has been a very popular move judging by my Instagram feed!
Busby and H-Bear were each sent a t-shirt and pair of leggings. So we headed off to Harlow Carr in Harrogate this weekend in search of a castle or palace for Busby to reign over… We found a tree house, which she was more than happy to make her home.
For Busby, I opted for the Queen of the Castle tee and Galaxy tie-dye leggings.
I love how fun this whole outfit is! The hand drawn Queen of the Castle illustration is just lovely – and the leggings are Busby’s favourite colour, so they were always going to be a hit!
The t-shirt is fantastic quality, and comes in either grey or white.
The leggings are beautiful, although, because they are tie-dyed, it means they have to be cold washed. *prays that the mud comes out from this shoot*
Busby wears age 4-5 years in the t-shirt and 3-4 years in the leggings (Little Cloud Company‘s largest size in leggings). Both fit well.
H-Bear was sent a Dirty Rascal tee and a pair of Storm leggings.
As you can see from this shoot, H-Bear lived up to his t-shirt! He was certainly a Dirty Rascal…
Once again, this outfit is so much fun – and I LOVE the marble effect on the Storm leggings! They’re so on-trend! Rosie and Rhiannon hand-splatter the leggings to order, so each one is unique. This is such a lovely idea!
The clothes are very easy to move and climb in, making them perfect playwear.
H-Bear wears age 1-2 years in the t-shirt and 18-24 months in the leggings. Both fit perfectly.
The t-shirts cost £10 each, and the leggings £11 each. The range is so fun and affordable, and I can’t recommend a peruse on the Little Cloud Company website enough. Check out their new personalised unicorn t-shirts too!
