I have lots of happy memories of visiting Drusillas Park when I was a child, so when I was asked whether we’d like to visit and review the Park I did not hesitate with my reply!
Drusillas is a wildlife park in Alfriston, about a 15 minute drive from Lewes. It has been approximately 15 years since I last visited – so I was curious to see what had changed in that time.
Everything seemed very familiar! Even the cow you can milk was still there! What I love most about Drusillas is the homemade, quirky feel it has – there are lots of interactive exhibits that are such fun and very educational. They look like they’ve been devised and constructed in someone’s shed (in a good way), and the whole Park has a homely feel to it because of this. [Read more…]
