Busby, Motherhood

And we’ve got our bedroom back…

Busby napping in her cot yesterday afternoon Last night was the first night that Busby slept in her own room, in her big cot (no more head-banging on the top of the moses basket!). I might have sobbed slightly when handing her over to Nick for her last feed before bed… My little baby is no longer the small newborn I once knew, and it breaks my heart. We have put so much in the loft! Including my maternity clothes, as they’re well and truly too big now. I must admit  ...

Lost…and Found!

At the beginning of last week I was feeling overwhelmed by Motherhood. I found myself in the relentless, repetitive wilderness of baby crying, nappy changing, bottle washing and feeding, and I was finding it difficult to see the light through the trees. However, towards the end of last week, with help from my Mutti and then my wonderful Other Half, I was helped through the brambles and arose out of the thicket an (almost) new woman! On Thursday night Nick and I went out for dinner and then  ...
