Au Revoir Maternity Clothes

Today has been incredibly productive; we’ve sorted out the bags and boxes in Busby’s room and have started getting her nursery ready. She won’t be sleeping in there for a while yet, as we don’t feel ready, but I want to get her gym set up in there so I can take her in during the day and start getting her used to the room itself.  Au revoir! Lost…and Found!

At the beginning of last week I was feeling overwhelmed by Motherhood. I found myself in the relentless, repetitive wilderness of baby crying, nappy changing, bottle washing and feeding, and I was finding it difficult to see the light through the trees. Flying Solo

Day 1 of Operation Solo: Mission accomplished! And thus concludes my first day of looking after Busby on my lonesome! It’s been a successful day; she’s slept quite a lot, eaten her fill and gone through a number of nappies.
