Review // Paw Patrol Magazine

I have a confession to make… Prior to receiving this magazine I had no idea what Paw Patrol was. Fellow Mums have mentioned it in the past, and I’ve smiled, nodded, and pretended to know what they were talking about…! But, even though we’re a CBeebies household, it sounded like the sort of programme Busby would enjoy. I mean, dogs, missions, and lots of adventures along the way? It’s ideal for her. Also Busby loves magazines, so when we were offered the first  ...

Review // LeapPad Platinum Tablet

Busby and I received a very exciting email at the beginning of the year, inviting us to join the LeapFrog Blogger Panel for 2016. These animations have stuck with me throughout my life, and I was overjoyed when we visited Beatrix Potter’s house – Hill Top Farm – a couple of years ago, as that is where the beginning of each episode was filmed. We were offered these gorgeous animations on DVD to review, and I  ...

Review // Santa’s Express Train Set from Hornby

Busby is a HUGE fan of trains, and living very close to a train station causes lots of daily excitement. We were very lucky to be sent a Santa’s Express Train Set by the legendary Hornby to review, and it has caused much joy and elation in our household (and not just from Busby!). Santa’s Express comes with 1600mm by 1180mm oval track and mat, and would be the ideal size to fit around the bottom of the Christmas tree. I am not a particularly patient person, and I found the track  ...
