Gosh September, you came around quickly! I was hoping that these photos would be taken on Whitby beach, as they were last September, but sadly our weekend in Whitby didn’t happen at the start of the month due to all round exhaustion. Instead, these photos were taken on a lovely autumnal walk last Sunday. Nick made a roast so, while it cooked away in the oven, we decided to get some fresh air and go in search of conkers.

This month’s photos were taken at Nostell Priory in West Yorkshire. Nostell is a gorgeous National Trust property, which has the best wilderness playground! It also had SO many divine peonies when we visited at the beginning of June. Not much has changed over the past month – although we’re definitely ramping up the adventures for the summer holidays now. We’ve got so much planned, and I can’t wait to begin. H-Bear // 23 months

The countdown is well and truly on until this boy turns two! Two?! Excuse me a moment while I sob into my lukewarm tea… The big news from the past month is that we’ve found him a Nursery! And it’s on a farm! I’ve written about it in more detail here, but goodness, I am so envious of my little bear. H-Bear // 22 months

This month has been a fantastic one for H-Bear in many ways! Something seems to have clicked with his language, so we’re getting mini sentences from him such as: “Daddy go work” and “Busby go school”, which has been a huge relief as I was starting to get a little bit worried about his speech progression.
