Following on from parts one and two: A couple of weeks ago we were invited to stay in Hampshire by the lovely folk at Hampshire’s Top Attractions. Our last day in Hampshire was HOT! We were all quite tired by this point, after a few late nights and long, exciting days full of adventures.
Following on from yesterday’s post… A couple of weeks ago we were invited to stay in Hampshire by the lovely folk at Hampshire’s Top Attractions. Our second full day in Hampshire was truly beautiful. We had a better sleep the second night, and breakfast the next morning was just as delicious!
After visiting Waitrose to pick up picnic goodies, we headed to our destination – Exbury Gardens. I had been looking forward to this adventure ever since the ticket arrived in the post as the photos in the booklet were stunning. We were not disappointed. [Read more…]
A couple of weeks ago we were invited to stay in Hampshire by the lovely folk at Hampshire’s Top Attractions. I’ve visited Hampshire quite a few times, but it was a first for Nick and the kids, and I couldn’t wait to show them the New Forest and everything this beautiful county has to offer!
Our journey from Yorkshire didn’t actually take as long as I thought it might – and we stopped off at National Trust Charlecote Park (Warwickshire) en route for a sandwich, an ice cream and a run around before getting back in the car to our final destination.
Hampshire’s Top Attractions had put us up in the Hilton Ageas Bowl for three nights and it was GORGEOUS! We were in a Queen Deluxe Room, which had it’s own balcony over the cricket pitch. [Read more…]
