Following our lovely, but rather disastrous holiday in the Lake District in June (you can read all about that here), we decided to go for my 30th birthday at the end of August to get our mountain ‘fix’! We had the most amazing week, so I thought I’d share our latest adventure with you.
We love to go swimming as a family, but it’s really something that we don’t do enough! We’ve just booked our next Lake District adventure for my 30th birthday in two weeks time, and I cannot wait to be back in my happy place. Our last Lake District trip spiralled down into a pit of illness for the children, so I’m really looking forward to our return… and for all of the exploring we didn’t get round to doing in June!
The Lake District is our happy place as a family. To be surrounded by mountains, woods and so much greenery 24/7 is the dream – and one day, way in the future, we hope to move there.
