Giveaway // Win a Medela Swing Electric Breastpump

Back in October I reviewed the fantastic Medela Swing Electric Breastpump. I found it so useful for increasing my milk supply when I was establishing breastfeeding with H-Bear; it’s definitely one of my essential baby items that I’d recommend to all Mamas-to-be to buy if they’re considering breastfeeding, as I found it much more effective than a manual pump and it really is a fantastic product (plus handy for travelling – M25 pumping anyone?!). I’m no longer  ...

Review // Medela Swing Electric Breast Pump

We were sent a Medela Swing Electric Breast pump to use as part of the Medela Mum campaign. Breastfeeding // How Breastfeeding is turning me into Oscar the Grouch

I’ve been breastfeeding Indy for over two months now (which, according to one of the Facebook breastfeeding support groups I’m a member of, apparently earns me my brass boobies!) and whilst I’m utterly in awe that my body can continue to grow him on the outside, I’m still experiencing a love-hate relationship with the process. I think it’s mostly to do with sleep; I’m not someone who copes well without it, and after 11 weeks of feeding every one-to-two  ...

Breastfeeding // One month in

I’m writing this post with Indy munching away… again! It’s been quite a difficult few nights, but I’m feeling over the moon that I’ve reached a month (almost five weeks, in fact) of breastfeeding. You can read my early days of breastfeeding post here. Every week I think to myself “if I just get to the end of this week I’ll be happy”, and at the end of that week I give myself a big pat on the back and a large slice of cake. It’s not been  ...
