Monday was a good day. This post made it onto the Mumsnet Front Page (and they used my photo rather than a stock photo, which made me rather happy!), I received two exciting parcels in the post (I love a good post day) and, after finally settling H-Bear for his nap, I came downstairs to discover that I had made it as a finalist in the Photography category for the BritMums Brilliance in Blogging (BiBs) Awards!
I *may* have screamed a little bit… and then quickly hushed because I remembered that H-Bear had only just gone to sleep!
I am completely shocked (and still can’t quite comprehend!) that I have been selected as a finalist for a national award. I turned to photography to help with my Postnatal Depression and Anxiety after having H-Bear; it was (and still is) my therapy, and to be nationally recognised for something I adore doing so very much, is utterly overwhelming.
