We had such a fab half term – and something I really appreciated was spending time with Busby whilst H-Bear had his afternoon naps. I don’t get much one-on-one time with her these days. The lovely folk at Trunkaroo sent Busby one of their fantastic activity boxes to try, and we had such a great time crafting and planting together that I’ve decided to share it with you all on the blog today. Trunkaroo was started by Sahar Meghani who wanted to create something a little bit ...
Darling Busby, In around two months time we will find out which Primary School you will be attending. You are currently going to Preschool at our first choice, so we have everything crossed that you’ll continue on into the Reception Class there. It’s a lovely school, and you’ve made so many friends in the term and a half that you’ve been attending. (You never cease to amaze me with the ease that you make friends.) But, gosh! Primary School!?! When did that happen?!
With no advanced notice This thing appears; Fur matted and tatty It’s been abused for years. “It’s the class mascot” they say “Look in the book” I scowl at the teacher, And take her bag off the hook. Back at home, With a gin in hand, I read all the pages And develop a plan.
To my darling daughter. My eldest bear. Tomorrow you begin Preschool. The start of many years in the education system. (Sorry!) You are nervous. Which is understandable. I am too. I know that you will be more than fine once you get into the swing of things. You always are. You are so like me in that respect; you build things up in your head to how you think they might be, but once you get there, once you realise everything is fine, then you relax and you will enjoy your time.
