Busby // An interview at 4.5 years

When Busby turned three I decided to stop her monthly updates, as I found I was starting to repeat myself (you can find all of her updates here)! Well, this lovely little lady is four and a half years old today, so I thought I’d continue on with this interview-style post I started when she was 3.5! From sailing the seven seas in search of treasure, to blasting into space with Flopsy bunny, this girl can (and will be) anything! The lovely folk at Barbie sent her a box full of dolls and accessories to help some of her stories along and, as part of their #DadsWhoPlayBarbie campaign, they wanted Nick to  ...

Poem // The Germ Factory (aka Soft Play)

My poem today is inspired by the horrendous cold that H-Bear and I picked up at Soft Play last week (which I’m currently suffering with right now). Apparently even industrial grade alcohol gel can’t stop this one…  A weeks worth of weather-checking And late night meditation, You agree to the plans With trepidation. Topping up the echinacea, Packing the alcohol gel. You make your way To Soft Play Hell.
