Jamie’s Italian is one of our favourite places to eat out as a family; the food quality is always fantastic, and they cater marvellously for children. However, since moving to Yorkshire we’ve not had the opportunity to visit a local Jamie’s (we very conveniently lived a short bus ride away from the Brighton restaurant), so I was over the moon to be asked to review the York branch, and we excitedly headed there for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday!
Jamie’s Italian in York is in a gorgeous, slightly hidden location, almost opposite the famous Betty’s Tea Room. The restaurant interior is stunning – a mix of industrial and modern – and there are tables to eat outside in the courtyard if you wish.
