Marriage // Choosing my engagement ring

My taste in jewellery is quite particular. There is so much jewellery out there that I detest, so finding something that I do actually like is a challenge. So this is why, on 25th August 2012 (the day after my 25th birthday), Nick proposed to me with a Haribo ring. He knew that I wanted to choose my own engagement ring, and I also don’t think he would’ve wanted that task entirely on his shoulders!

What the Children Wore // Rowdy Roddy Vintage

Regular readers will know how much I love Instagram! The beautiful photos and little snapshots into other peoples lives are fascinating. But I really love it for the new shops I’m introduced to. Aaand most importantly I now have my wedding shoes! They were the last mint pair in the whole company… Phew! So, as  ...

(I) Do // How a Birch Box inspired the theme for our wedding

I received a Birch Box at the Brighton Blogger Meet back in April. I’d never heard of Birch Boxes before, but I’m a sucker for pretty packaging so fell in love instantly. If you don’t know what a Birch Box is, it’s a subscription box that appears on your doorstep every month for £10 (plus p&p) full of fabulous beauty goodies. Amazing. You can find out more on the Birch Box website. Anyway, in my box I received a gorgeous La Société Parisienne de Savons soap (as  ...
