BiBs Awards 2013: A small shameless plea

I started blogging about my journey into the wilderness of Motherhood in September last year; it began as a record of the last trimester of my pregnancy and beyond. I’ve always loved writing, and find it easier (and preferable) to express myself through the written word. I would never have dreamed of how far my blog has taken me already, and the lovely people I’ve met through social media because of it. It has opened my eyes (and heart) to a new, online community, and support network of gorgeous parents and writers.

Another thing I never thought I’d be doing this time last year (I didn’t even know I was pregnant this time last year!!) is attending Britmums Live in June. I’m extremely excited, and fairly terrified, to be going – but I’m so very much looking forward to meeting some of the parents I’ve been tweeting with! I’ve also now got business cards, which to be honest makes me pretty cool… yeah!

The BiBs Award ceremony will be held at Britmums Live, and I would be over the moon to be nominated for one of the following categories in this years awards:
Fresh Voice? Because I’m a newbie, and so fresh! (Except when I don’t have time to wash or get out of my pjs… ah parenthood)
Social Media? Because I’m a Social Media whore.
Family? Because I mostly blog about the beautiful Busby, our adventures and her poo… #Bloggingastherapy
Lifestyle? Because of my weekly feature What’s in your changing bag? , and my regular reflections about life as a new Mutti.
There are so many amazing blogs out there (believe me, you should see my BlogLovin’ following list!), but if you love my blog and fancy nominating me please click the link below.

Nominations close on 12th April 2013, so please get your nomination in before then.
Thank you so much in advance
