Next have recently launched their first Home advert for television, which features a very cute dog travelling through a Narnia-esk wardrobe (my personal highlight of the advert). If you haven’t seen the advert I’ve linked to it here.
The majority of Next’s current Home section is on my “to buy” wishlist, as Brighton, crafting and woodland are featured frequently, so I was ridiculously excited the day the Next Bobbins Promenade Mini Lamp arrived for me to review. Ridiculously. You can ask Nick: I leapt for joy.
Eventually the lamp will live on my craft table, next to my sewing machine – where it fits in perfectly. But for now, as my craft table is currently Busby’s changing station, the lamp is living downstairs on the trunk. Doesn’t it look fabulous?
I love everything about the design of the lamp; from the bobbin stand, to the blue electricity cord that matches the lamp’s blue scheme. It’s big enough to make an impression, but not too big that it swamps whatever it’s standing on (height 41cm). Everyone who has visited has commented on the fabulous design, and how much they love it!
The only negative thing I can say about the lamp is that finding a light bulb to fit has been a rather difficult task, as the lamp takes a very small screw bulb. However, the light bulb search was completely worth it for this charming lamp that’s now lighting up our living room!
The Next Bobbins Promenade Mini Lamp retails at £32 and is available on the Next website.

That’s lovely. I love the design and the colour x
Isn’t it beautiful? I love it (probably a little too much!) xx
Ohhhhh I love it. So much. My sewing room is our dining table so I don’t have space for it but that is so lovely.
I am completely in love with it! xx
