Review: A Box of Weleda Skin Goodies

I was sent a lovely box of Weleda samples to try out; there was a mix of Weleda Baby products and other scrummy skin goodies.

Weleda Baby
1. Calendula Oil
This is great for post-bath baby massage. I’m not so keen on the smell though, as it smells quite alcoholic!

2. Calendula Face Cream
If I’m honest I don’t really see the point of face cream for babies… Busby has beautifully soft skin anyway, but it smells lovely – very creamy and smooth! I’ve used it on my skin and it makes it feel super soft!

3. Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash
This smells scrummy (again) and is very kind to Busby’s skin and scalp.

4. Calendula Lotion
I’ve used this when Busby has had nappy rash and it definitely soothes!

5. Skin Food
I’ve spoken about this product before on Make, Do and Push! so I was very happy to see this pop up in my box of scrummy goodies. I love Skin Food so much – it smells amazing and makes my skin feel amazing! I tend to apply it before I go to sleep so it nourishes my skin over night.

6. Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream
I was so excited to try this out that I forgot to take a photo of it before I opened it! Anything that claims to “regenerate” my dry, cracked, over-washed hands is worth a try in my opinion. It smelt delicious (I’m not surprised by this) and did work briefly, although I would need to try it for a period of time to review properly.

Full size versions of these products are all available to buy on the Weleda website.

I’ve not tried skin food but the Weleda baby range is just lovely – it’s the only thing that’s helped my pair with their dry skin, and the nappy cream is great for soothing the occasional rash too – lucky you to get to play with them!
