Welcome to week 6 of The Week That Was: Instagrammed. Have you had a fabulous week? Thank you to all of you who linked up last week!
I hope you all manage to link up again and that we have some more lovely new bloggers. I love reading everyone’s blogs – new and old – so please do come and say hi and spread the blog love around!
Before we start, you can find the rules here.
This week has been fairly quiet – I’m feeling rather exhausted from running after Busby whilst she crawled everywhere!!!
Blog post: The Week That Was: Instagrammed #5
We had a lovely day on Sunday; we met up with two friends we haven’t seen for yonks and went for a tasty roast dinner in Lewes! We had a wonderful catch up and it was lovely to have lunch out in the sun.

Monday morning was fairly quiet. I did lots of jobs around the house.
Busby had her second induction at Nursery on Monday afternoon… this did not go well at all. I had to leave her and sit in the kitchen for a while, which resulted in a meltdown and inconsolable crying from her… Her final induction is next week and then she starts the following week. It’s not looking great. A phased start was discussed… And this just confirms to me what I already knew; neither of us are ready to leave each other yet.

Tuesday was another quiet day. I woke up with my third ear infection of 2013, so my Mutti came over in the afternoon and took Busby for a walk whilst I had a lie down. She then took me to the doctor, who gave me more antibiotics.
When we got home Busby and I sat in the garden and enjoyed the warm sun on our faces. I had a mini lavender harvest, and inspected our growing vegetables!

A baby-free day! Nick’s parents came and took Busby out for the day, so I headed down to Brighton to gather fabric for my post on Saturday. I spent a good 45 minutes wandering around Fabric Land looking for the perfect material. I then headed to HomeSense as they had kindly sent me a gift voucher to spend. More to follow on that next week.
I bought a chai tea latte for the bus back and spent the afternoon crafting! Bliss!

Following Monday’s Nursery meltdown, I confirmed with my manager on Thursday that I would take an extra three weeks of annual leave at the end of my maternity leave. I’m now not going back to work until the end of September, and I’m feeling much better about this!!
In other news, baby swimming was back on this week and Busby had even more time underwater. Hoorah!
Nick had the day off work as he was working on Saturday instead, so we had a slow get up together as a family. Busby had slept over 12 hours so we were all in good spirits!
Nick took Busby out for a walk whilst I hoovered and cleaned the entire house – ooh it feels good when you can do that without being interrupted.
We then had a very unsuccessful trip into Brighton to find a photo booth for Busby’s passport photo as our home photos weren’t good enough, but this was a nightmare!!

Guess what? It’s only two weeks until my birthday! Boom!
Busby’s top two teeth broke through on Saturday so she was in a great mood, and unfortunately, Nick was working. I found myself with a grumpy, tired baby who refused to sleep for the best part of the day.
Nick’s parents and brother came over in the afternoon for a cup of tea, and I managed to have a sit down and piece of cake without having to chase after a crawling bubba!
Next week is looking busy; wedding dress shopping at the end of the week! Eek!!
What have you been up to this week?
