The Week That Was: Instagrammed #12

Howdy and welcome back to The Week That Was: Instagrammed!

Have you all had a fabulous week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.

My week…
This has been my last week of freedom maternity leave. Boo! I was hoping to do so much with this week, but since coming back from Lille I’ve been feeling under the weather, so it’s been a bit of a boring week sadly.

I’m not setting this post up well am I?

I can’t for the life of me remember what we did on Sunday…! I think it was a quiet one around the house.

On Monday Busby and I chilled out around the house and I did some reading about seasonal eating. My first Nonabox arrived to review, so we had a good nosey through that!

Busby was back at Nursery on Tuesday, so I had a day to myself. I’m really going to miss my Tuesdays when I return to work next week… I get so much done around the house!

Anyway, I finally got round to starting the “365 Days of Busby” album – I’ve been taking a photo of her every day for the first year of her life to look back on. It’s pretty amazing! I think I’m going to need more than one album though…!

My Mutti had Busby for Wednesday afternoon, so I headed into Brighton to buy some warmer clothes for her. I also bought myself this amazing jumper, which I’m wearing as I type.

Make, Do and Push! turned one on Thursday!! Yay!! I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved in the past year, and very excited for the next year ahead!

Busby had swimming on Thursday too, and did so well under water! She loves swimming so much; her excitement when we’re waiting on the side for our lesson to start is so cute.

On Thursday evening I went out for a G&T or two (and pudding) with one of my Bridesmaids. It was lovely to catch up with her and update her on wedding plans! When I got home Nick had a cupcake (with one candle) waiting for me to celebrate my blog-o-versary.

Blog post: Busby: 9 months
Busby turned 9 months on Friday… and also woke up with an awful cold! Once again we chilled out around the house. Busby’s new Funky Giraffe bibs arrived – with bees!

Saturday did not start well with a 2.30am wake up call from Busby due to a horrid cough and snot! I finally got her back to sleep at 5am, after I’d had a cup of tea and breakfast and was feeling awake. Obvs. Anyway, I went back to bed and spent a good hour thinking about vintage buses for our wedding (!!) before finally dropping off and not waking up again until 11.30am! Amazing!

Both Nick and Busby spent the day full of cold, and I now have a niggling in my throat. I’m praying that it will pass and that my first day back at work on Tuesday won’t be spent blowing my nose!

I think Busby’s cold is partly related to her teeth, as I can see number seven and eight trying to make an appearance, and her entire lower jaw has gone white and bumpy! At least they’re coming fairly quickly.

So I’m back to work next week… I’m feeling fairly nervous about it all. Read about how I get on in next week’s The Week That Was: Instagrammed.

Have a lovely week ahead.

ps My Birthday Giveaway is open until Monday!
