The Week That Was: Instagrammed #15

Hi and welcome back to The Week That Was: Instagrammed!

Have you all had a wonderful week?

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week; I hope you all manage to link up again!

The rules are simple: link up a photo post from the week, Instagrammed or not. You can use the same format as below, or you can do your own thing. You can even link up photo posts about one day or one event – they don’t have to be about the whole week.

My week…
Hmm… This week has been seriously tough. I’ve found it has been one of “those” weeks in a lot of respects. Also, I realise that I’ve taken a lot of photos of food this week…!

Sunday was another one of those days where I can’t remember what we did. I remember feeling exhausted!

Busby and I had a lovely day on Monday. We pottered around the house and she didn’t cry all day! She had a long lunch eating all of her pasta (she LOVED it) and lots of grapes… Nick got home from work a bit early, as he’d been in since 7am, so he made roast chicken for dinner.

I was back at work on Tuesday. I had a horrible day; either in tears or close to tears for a lot of the day. The second week of returning from maternity leave is much harder than the first, and I really suffered.

Another day another dollar…

Busby and I headed into Brighton on Thursday to grab some essentials and then we met Nick for lunch. I also bought her some new pram shoes that actually stay on!!

We had Monkey Music on Friday, which Busby loved! She hadn’t napped all morning and finally fell asleep in the pram on the way back, so I decided to pop into Cafe Nero for a chai tea latte and a naughty slice of chocolate cake.

Our new car seat arrived, as did Busby’s new tights from KyNa Boutique.

We had a lovely day on Saturday. We drove up to my Godmother’s house in Surrey for a delicious lunch and then took the dogs for a walk in the afternoon.

Busby tried out her new car seat, and it proved very comfortable!

Next week #TWTWI will be published on Saturday as Busby turns 10 months (!) on Sunday.

I remember the second week back. The first is a novelty and you spend the time catching up. The second is when you realise that this is your life now. I think it’s almost the make or break week. Will you carry on or is your brain drumming up new options? It’s the point where I decided I’d stick it until we had our second child and then wave goodbye. Hope the third week is more settled though x

Thanks Rachel. I’ve been drumming up new options for a while now xx

Aw love, hope you have a better week this week! I found that to be honest, it was a little up and down sometimes. Think that’s the way it goes some weeks. Big hugs xxx

Sounds like you had a hard week back at work – I’m in my first weeks back and even doing it the second time and knowing that it gets easier doesn’t make it any less hard right now – I hope things are better this week.

Love the idea of an instagram linky. Your Saturday looks like a good Country Kids day!
