Whilst on maternity leave I never tended to wear much make-up; hydration and a touch of kohl pencil under my eye (to make me look somewhat alive) was my regular beauty regime. However, since returning to work, the (very) early mornings have been taking their toll, so I was very happy and relieved when The Body Shop’s new 3-Step Radiance Routine arrived on my doorstep.
I was certainly in need of something to help make me feel radiant again!
Step One: Conceal and Highlight with Lightening Touch Universal Highlighter £14
Perfect for covering up those dark circles, and highlighting and illuminating cheek bones, brow bones and eyes. I did find that the Highlighter was a bit too sparkly on my face (if it’s possible to be too sparkly), but I do have a very pale complexion.
Step Two: Illuminate with Brush On £14
I love this step! I was sent “Brush On Sunlight” and it certainly does that! The shade definitely makes me look more radiant and awake, and although this shade is for medium skin tones, the coral within the palette isn’t too orange for my pale complexion. Beautiful!
Step Three: Sculpt with Shimmer Waves
I was sent the Shimmer Waves coral palette, which is designed for a medium skin tone, so I have been concentrating on the pinks rather than the oranges for my complexion. This step is fantastic; highlighting and sculpting my cheekbones.
Overall, I’ve been really impressed with The Body Shop 3-Step Radiance Routine. It’s not something I would usually go out and buy, but I’ve found myself introducing this into my regular make-up routine before work, and it definitely makes me look and feel a bit more alive for those 6am starts!
As with all products from The Body Shop, these products are 100% Cruelty free and 100% Vegetarian.

I really like the illuminating brush on product – it helps to keep my blusher on longer which is always a bonus! x

It’s great! xx
Sounds great – did it take much time to apply it all?
No – not at all! 5 minutes tops – I do it every morning before work and usually like to snooze my alarm so only give myself 10 minutes for beautifying 😉 xx
I am such a glutton for make up products (and I’m an Avon lady too !)
These look gorgeous. I usually go for golden shades that suit asian skin though.
They are gorgeous 🙂 xx
Oooh they look lovely, I didn’t realise that Body Shop did a concealer that looked so similar to that much more expensive one, definitely worth trying 🙂
