Review: MikaB Teething Jewellery

I was slightly hesitant when Dominika from MikaB Teething Jewellery contacted me asking whether I’d be interested in reviewing some of her jewellery; I’ve always thought teething jewellery was a bit of a gimmick. However, I’ve not really tried it before so decided to broaden my horizons and give it a go.

I was kindly sent this Dim Grey Necklace and Gold Pearlised Bangle to try.

I chose the grey necklace as I wear a lot of colourful clothes so thought it would go well. It looks great – and certainly doesn’t look like a teething necklace, as you will read below. It’s also casual enough to wear out daily.

So, what did I think? Well, I LOVE the necklace! It’s fantastic! My Mother-in-law didn’t realise it was a teething necklace and gave a very worried look when Busby started tugging and chewing at it; I reassured her that all was fine and she was allowed to chew on it.

It’s also a fabulous distraction during nappy changes when out and about as Busby will happily play and chew away on it.

There is a safety clasp on the necklace, which works very well so there’s no fear of strangulation (although, obviously don’t leave your Little One alone with this!).

The bracelet is lovely, although not necessarily something I would wear casually. It definitely serves its purpose though; Busby really enjoys noshing away on this as we eagerly await tooth number 7!

Both items are made from non-toxic, food grade silicon.

Suffice to say I’m definitely a teething jewellery convert!

The Dim Grey Necklace retails at €16.50 and the Gold Pearlised Bangle retails at €9.50, which I think are very reasonable prices for such practical and lovely products.

Both can be found on the MikaB website.
