Review: Oqibo Hydra Restore Cream

I don’t know about you, but my skin is completely different each season. In summer I have days where my skin is super shiny and greasy (sexy times), and in winter I suffer from very dry patches. We’ve been doing a lot car travelling recently, and the heating in the car, combined with the central heating everywhere else has resulted in some very dry, unhappy skin on my face. So when the lovely folk at Oqibo contacted me and asked whether I’d be interested in trying a moisturiser from their range I replied with a very grateful “yes”!
I had a look through the range on their website and decided that the Hydra Restore Cream was the product for me.
The first thing that caught my eye about the Oqibo Hydra Restore Cream when it arrived was the packaging. As I’ve said before on the blog, I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and this didn’t disappoint. The elegant sleek box oozes quality and I couldn’t wait to open it up.
So what did I think? Well, the Hydra Restore Cream is divine! It’s light and didn’t feel greasy on my skin at all, in fact I forgot I had applied it on one (very tired) occasion. Key ingredients include shea butter, jojoba and glasswort oil, which all work to create a product that is intensely hydrating and gorgeous.
I love that the cream also comes with sachets of Skin Refining Exfoliator to help rid your face of the dead, dry skin before applying the moisturiser. This, like the cream, is wonderful and I felt thoroughly pampered using it pre-application.
There’s not much else I can say about the Hydra Restore Cream, other than after two weeks of daily usage my skin definitely feels (and looks) more hydrated and radiant – in fact I haven’t worn any foundation on my face for the last two weeks as it’s felt so good!
The Hydra Restore Cream costs £33.15 for 100ml and is available to buy on the Oqibo website (have a look at the gorgeous candles whilst you’re on there!).

Just came across Oqibo for the first time today and did a Google search for their reviews, your blog was the first result and proved to be really informative. I agree, the box looks beautiful. Looking forward to giving the brand a try!
