Review: Oqibo Fig Leaf Candle

Now that I’m officially a freelancer I’ve been looking for ways to make my small creative space more relaxing. The super friendly folk at Oqibo sent me a gorgeous Fig Leaf candle to help me on my way, and I must admit, it has been working.

Oqibo currently have three candles to choose from on their website:

Fig Leaf
Green Tea and Passionfruit
Wild Pomegrante

So, as you can imagine, it was tough to choose between these delicious fragrances. In the end I chose Fig Leaf as the description: “A fresh, uplifting fragrance that calms, soothes and energises” sounded exactly what I needed for my desk space.

The scent is beautiful! It’s fresh, fruity and cleansing, and would be the ideal partner in a long, relaxing bath or during some (rare) child-free time. It is my perfect companion for my working days, and keeps me feeling chilled and calm, (even during the storm that kept threatening to break my internet connection last week)!

All Oqibo candles come with a box of Oqibo matches, which is a lovely touch and would certainly make a gorgeous gift.

The Oqibo Fig Leaf candle costs £22; I would usually consider this a little pricey for a candle… However, when you take into consideration the burn time of 40+ hours and the delightful fragrance made with the finest mineral waxes, I think it is worth paying that little bit extra for the quality. All Oqibo candles are poured and hand-finished in the UK too.

The gorgeous Oqibo Fig Leaf candle is available to buy on the Oqibo website.
