Over the past few weeks, Busby’s personal vocabulary has been improving and increasing ten-fold.

She’s like a sponge, which is both amazing and a little bit dangerous at times…! It’s also been rather amusing! One of her favourite books at the moment is Mr Nonsense’s Silly Day – she has just learnt to say “silly day” which has been very funny and has produced lots of giggles from all of us. So following on from “silly day”, I have taught our daughter how to say “silly Daddy”… Nick hasn’t been massively amused by this (sorry!) but Busby and I have found ourselves in fits of laughter!

Who knows what Nick will have taught her when I get back from my Hen Do on Sunday night…!!!

So lovely when they really start talking but yes, quite dangerous too as they really will pick up everything! My little one constantly tells me “you’re a pickle” when I stop her doing something but my favourite is her standing at the bottom of the stairs shouting “Get up Michael!” at my hubby. Hope you have a lovely hen do x

Haha- I can see this escalating rather quickly! When I saw the title of this post I thought B’s current favourite word might be sponge 🙂 It’s quite a good word, really- almost onomatopoeic! xxx

🙂 but now you’ll have to watch what you say as you can bet your life the phrase you don’t want her to pick up on will be the one she gets sooo easily – great word!

Ah I can just imagine Busby saying that! They do learn so quickly, Baby still only has about 10 ish words but her comprehension is great and she can carry out simple tasks. It is always a shock when I ask her to do something and she does it! xx

Enjoy the Hen Do. I loved this period as the vocabulary increased – one of the very loveliest milestones in parenting for me.
