What Indy Wore // Bonnie Baby from Little Bou

Little Bou is an independent designer online boutique run by Sacira and Natasha. The boutique was initially started as an easy, online space for parents to buy designer clothes, furniture and accessories for boys (as this is their forté having raised their own brood) – but now also stocks items for girls, as well as lots of gorgeous unisex items.

I had so much fun perusing the Little Bou website when I was asked to collaborate on a style post. Clothes shopping and styling my children appears to have become my new, rather expensive, hobby (it’s way more fun than clothes shopping for myself these days!), and there was so much choice on Little Bou for Indy!

Eventually, I (rather optimistically) chose Indy a couple of summery items in the vain hope that a heatwave was around the corner… which transpired to be seriously wishful thinking on my part! How pants has our summer been this year?!

Nevertheless, I fell head over heels with this gorgeous unisex short playsuit from Hove-based Bonnie Baby (recently rebranded The Bonnie Mob); the sunny rainbow appliqué design puts a huge smile on my face, and I’ve been hoping it might also encourage the sun to appear…!

The playsuit is a beautiful sky blue colour and the print is a faux-knit pattern, which gives the outfit a handmade feel.

The playsuit is made from 100% organic cotton, so it’s super gentle against Indy’s skin.

It has poppers at bottom for easy nappy change access, and also two poppers in the top left shoulder – a feature I’m always thankful for with a poonami-prone baby!

We were also sent the matching reversible hat, which is currently a little too big for his head as it’s size 6-12 months. This is also made from 100% organic cotton and is so soft! I’m sure we’ll get lots of use out of it next Spring and Summer.

The Bonnie Baby Huey Sunny Day Rainbow Applique Playsuit costs £22 and the reversible sun hat is £13. Both are available to buy on the Little Bou website.
