We’re over the moon to be working with the Infant Sleep Consultants and Bubbaroo on the #BubbarooBabySleepDiary project. You can find all of our previous posts here.
Day Seventeen: Sunday 4th October
WOW! Indy slept from 00:45am until 6am this morning! We tried his thin tog Joey Swag sleeping bag from Bubbaroo and he obviously loved it.
He’s been quite dozy all of today, and his tummy has been bothering him again. I’m going to call the Osteopath tomorrow and try and get an appointment for this coming week. Fingers crossed they will be able to see us quickly and that we’ll all be sleeping all night, every night soon…!!
Day Eighteen: Monday 5th October
Haha! I spoke too soon! A dreadful night!
Indy has been up fussing since 2.30 Please sleep baby! #bubbaroobabysleepdiary — Hannah | MakeDo&Push (@mamamakedopush) October 5, 2015
Indy is most definitely teething, which I think is why he was up most of last night. He has spent most of the day screaming at me too… We do not have a happy baby!
In other news, I managed to get an appointment with the Osteopath for next week. Apparently this man has magic hands, so I hope we’ll have a happier baby by the end of it.
Day Nineteen: Tuesday 6th October
Another bad night… Although not quite as bad as the night before!
Rubbish night 11.30-1.30am, 2-4.30am in crib, and then he slept on me until 7am as refused to go back in crib #bubbaroobabysleepdiary

Once again he has screamed at me most of the day. He did nap for about two hours this afternoon in the sling though, so Busby and I had a movie afternoon and watched Paddington. Indy has been refusing the breast today and chewing on the teat of the bottle, so I’ve been liberally applying teething gel to his gums! I consulted Dr Google and this seems to be pretty common during teething.
Day Twenty: Wednesday 7th October
Ooh Indy… I really do think he’d spend his life permanently attached to me if he could!
12-3.30am in crib then rest of night on me. I think he’d sleep on me every night if he could! #bubbaroobabysleepdiary — Hannah | MakeDo&Push (@mamamakedopush) October 7, 2015
I checked in with Annie, our Sleep Consultant, this morning. She thinks that Indy may have an intolerance to cow’s milk, which is why he’s not settling well at night. I’m not convinced; I do think he may have silent reflux, but I think a combination of first the cold, and then teething… and then suspected reflux on top are probably more the reason he’s had some bad nights. Annie suggested changing his formula to Neocate (we’re now alternating feeds with breast and bottle), but I’ll have a chat with the doctor and see what they think first, as it’s apparently rather foul.
In other news, Indy has been a completely different baby today! We’ve had lots of smiles and he’s been a pleasure to be around. Not much napping has happened; he’s spent most of the day learning to grab and watching Busby in adoration.
Day Twentyone: Thursday 8th October
Woohoo! A good night!
One wake-up is certainly acceptable – and he slept this all in the crib!
He’s teething like a fiend this morning… wish me luck for the rest of the day.
