What Busby and Indy Wore // Poco Nido

Children’s clothes should be bold, colourful and beautiful. They should be fun, and great for playing in, and that is exactly what the team at Poco Nido do so well.

A few weeks ago, I was asked to choose a few items for the children from the current Poco Nido collection.

We love flamingoes, so this gorgeous vest was always going to be a hit with Busby!

The vest is made from 100% cotton, and was wonderful teamed with leggings during the warmer days we had this year. I’m looking forward to layering it up this Autumn to add a pop of colour on a colder, darker days.

The flamingoes are fabulous – and have a retro feel to the design.

I have found that the Poco Nido sizing comes up quite small – the vest Busby wears is size 3-4 and I don’t think she will be able to wear it for much longer.

I decided to opt for a footless romper for Indy as he’s a super long baby, and loved this design adorned with badgers!

The romper is made from 100% cotton, and had lots of family members cooing and commenting about how lovely it was.

Again the sizing came up rather small (Indy is wearing age 0-3 months), and sadly it didn’t last very long – I wish I’d ordered up a size.

I was also (rather excitingly) asked to choose some shoes for the children.

I fell head over heels for this beautiful owl plimsols for Busby, which came in the most gorgeous little suitcase. I love how the colours of the owls are gender neutral, so Indy will be able to wear them once he’s big enough.

The shoes seem comfortable and durable – they are the perfect playwear for an active toddler!

I chose these wonderful pram shoes for Indy, which are covered in rainbow sausage dogs! We love a dachshund!

Indy wears them every time we go out, as has a habit of kicking off his socks, and hasn’t quite figured out how to get rid of these yet.

I’m sure he will have grown out of them by the time he’s walking, but they are suitable for indoor walking, so I’ll have to get a few more pairs for the coming months!

I would certainly recommend Poco Nido for fun children’s playwear, and will definitely be making a few purchases in the coming months!

All of the above items can be found for sale on the Poco Nido website.

I agree – kids’ clothes should be all about color, boldness, and fun! Love all of those pieces! I am sucker for all things with tiny animals. The rainbow sausage dog shoes are especially fun. Thanks for hosting #funkykidfriday! — Amy @ http://thegiftedgabber.com

Completely agree – kids clothes should be bright, colourful and fun. Love the vest that Busby is wearing. She’s really striking a pose in the picture too! x
