Review // I See Me Personalised 12 Days of Christmas Book

We don’t start getting Christmassy until 1st December in the Make, Do and Push! household, but when we begin we really get stuck into the spirit of the festive season! So far we’ve baked and decorated Christmas biscuits, sung many songs, and have cracked open the mulled wine (adults only, of course). You’ve probably also noticed ALL the outfits if you follow me on Instagram!

I am SO excited for this Christmas because Busby is also so very excited! We’ve been reading lots of Christmas stories, and one of our favourites has been this very wonderful personalised copy of The 12 Days of Christmas by I See Me

The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and have a vintage feel to them. I especially love the gorgeous kitsch bears and the funky, colourful robots. The pictures are so engaging and we’ve had lots of fun pointing out the various animals and Christmassy decorations.

The story has been modernised and appeals to Busby, with colouring crayons and robots! Both children are mentioned in the story throughout.

The book itself is hardback and the paper is a lovely thick quality, which makes it safe from accidental tearing by little hands.

I’ve loved reading (and singing) The 12 Days of Christmas to the children, and they’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening and looking too. Busby has taken great pleasure in pointing out her name on each page.

The I See Me personalised The 12 Days of Christmas costs £23 and can be purchased and personalised on the I See Me website. I’m more than certain this is a book that will become a classic in our household; one that’s brought out year after year to enjoy.
