Siblings // July 2016

Well, this has been an insanely quick month! H-Bear has turned one, Busby has turned three and a half, and we’ve spent all of July (so far) staying with my mum in Sussex, which has been very good for the soul.

I captured the little shoot for July Siblings at one of our favourite places in Lewes – The Grange. I realised, while editing the shots, that H-Bear is wearing exactly the same thing as he wore last month… Oops! In my defence, I am so in love with this bubble romper that I found in the Bonnie Mob sale… His thighs look so chubby and delicious that I’d probably put him in it every day if the weather (and laundry pile) permitted!

Nick has been down for the past few days, and we’ve had such a wonderful time together; enjoying the sunshine, appreciating Sussex, and having lots of family fun!

We’ve been to London to see the dinosaurs (H-Bear’s first visit to the capital), we’ve had a picnic almost every day, and we’ve eaten far too much ice cream!

Our two bears have been sharing a room at my mum’s house, which has been a rather successful experiment. We were concerned that it might result in no one sleeping, but once they got used to the idea, it’s been absolutely fine – and, to be honest, they’ve both been so shattered from all of the adventures, that they’ve been conking out completely exhausted most nights!

Their bond continues to grow as Busby realises, month-by-month, how useful it is to have a little partner in crime.

Bubsy looks especially grown up in these pictures, and I adore her dinosaur dress! Sounds like you’ve had a wonderful week down here too xx

What gorgeous photos! I’m looking forward to my youngest getting a bit bigger to be able to totter about with his big brother – but at the same time, I want him to stay like a baby! x
