A few weeks ago we were very kindly sent some Design Your Own Organic Cotton PJs from the gorgeous Lala & Bea. I’ve been waiting for the opportune moment to sit down and make these with Busby, and that (rather rainy) afternoon presented itself last week whilst H-Bear was distracted with a big box of cars!
The neutral light grey pyjamas are long-sleeved, and are made from 100% organic cotton, which means they’re super soft. The pyjamas come in a small cotton tote bag, adorned with bright yellow stars.
The set also includes a pack of neon Dylon fabric pens to decorate, and stencils to encourage your inspiration.
Busby and I had a lovely time decorating the pyjamas. I did most of the actual drawing as we both found the fabric pens quite difficult to use on the fabric as you have to hold it rather taut, but Busby advised on what she would like and where!
Sadly the fabric is a bit too thick to see the stencils through properly, so we made up our own designs! Busby absolutely loves them!
It was a really fun activity to do together, and I love that she’s got something to wear at the end to document our Mama and Busby time.
Once finished, iron to seal the drawings, et voila!
The pyjamas would make a wonderful gift for any creative little person, although I do think Busby is a bit too little to do this activity independently, so I’d recommend more for age 5 years+.
The Design Your Own Organic Cotton PJs from Lala & Bea cost £34, and are available to buy on the Lala & Bea website.
They look fantastic, wondering if they do grown up sizes now?! 🙂
These are brilliant and the fact that you can design them yourself is so lovely. A fun activity and the perfect way to have completely unique clothes 🙂 #FunkyKidFriday

Busby’s PJs are amazing! We’ve tried skincare from Lala & Be a but never realised they did clothing as well 🙂 Thanks for hosting #FunkyKidFriday xx
The photos are adorable and i love the pj’s. That is something my daughter would just love to design her own pjs. Very cool. Nice bright colours too!
What a fantastic idea. Love the pattern you’ve done around the wrists and those knees, just adorable. Do they come in different colours? We are not really a grey family but love this idea x
I really like these. It’s such a great idea. MG likes to use fabric pens on his vests. Beautiful photography, love that unicorn cushion. Thanks for hosting #FunkyKidFriday Yvadney x
Ah what a fab idea! My kids would love to do this x #funkykidfriday
Wow that is such a cool idea to decorate your own pjs! I think I’d do it myself, I love colouring it. Especially with neon colours! Xx
