Review // Battledown Blanket from The Stripy Co

the stripy co reviewI have a bit of a thing about blankets, and have always dreamed about having a trunk full of them at the foot of the bed for chilly days, or family movie nights. (Does anyone else share this dream?!) So when I was asked to review a blanket from The Stripy Co for H-Bear, I couldn’t refuse!

H-Bear was sent the Battledown Cotton blanket in green. The green is a beautiful, subtle khaki colour. The blanket also has a couple of soft baby blue stripes too, which contrast nicely. The blanket coordinates wonderfully with H-Bear’s cot and room.

The Battledown blanket is made from 100% cotton and is very soft. It would make a lovely presentation blanket for your newborn.

It’s machine washable, which makes it ideal for use as a pram blanket or a teddy bears picnic!

The blanket is 75cm x 95cm, which is a very useful size for all manner of tasks.

H-Bear loves to hide his things and himself, and has very much enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with the Battledown blanket…!

In all honesty, we haven’t had much of a chance to use the blanket for it’s actual purpose of keeping warm yet, as it was sent to us during reoccurring heatwaves. However, I am sure that a) now we have returned to Yorkshire and b) Autumn is on the way, we will be using it regularly for the preschool run and keeping cosy!

The green Battledown blanket costs £23 and can be found on The Stripy Co website, along with lots of other lovely shades. The blanket can be personalised for an extra £5, and it would make a fab gift for a new baby.
