Wellies feature quite prominently in our lives; they were a big part of our wedding day, and I love it when all four of us don them and go for a walk in the woods… which is exactly what we did for this shoot!
The lovely folk at Muddy Puddles sent the children a pair of their gorgeous Puddlestomper yellow cloud wellies so we could twin Busby and H-Bear, and I can’t get over how cute they look.
The wellies are super durable and very comfy. H-Bear has only been walking for around 4 months, but he’ll happily march along in these with confidence. The soles have excellent grips, which help keep him upright in the mud!
The reflective strip on the back of the wellies is great for high visibility, and I’m sure will be very useful on the school run as autumn and winter set in.
I love how funky they look; the cloud pattern is very on trend, and it makes a difference from the usual plain yellow wellies I choose for the children. The wellies are definitely unisex, which makes them great as hand-me-downs from Busby to H-Bear (and any future children we may have…).
They’re very comfortable and flexible for jumping and climbing in, so your mini adventurers aren’t hindered during their explorations!

Oh we love Muddy Puddles – I kitted both girls out for school with their coats and trousers and Kitty has the yellow cloud wellies as her school wellies for this year. She loves them and I wish they made them in my size, it’s so nice to have things that aren’t plain colours but aren’t heavily branded either – roll on the winter and all the puddles we could wish for!

Oh my god, I LOVE these wellies, I want a pair for myself! There’s something about yellow wellies that cheers up any outfit. And it’s great they have a reflective strip too, very practical 🙂
