November has felt long. With the appalling weather, the shorter days and the constant illness, we have been in dire need of a party at Make, Do & Push! HQ…!
Because, cake solves all, doesn’t it?!
The lovely folk at the Disney Store sent us some goodies to help us throw a Disney party. So on Tuesday morning, Busby, H-Bear and I crowded around the mixer and began preparations!
We decided to make a Mickey themed cake, using our fail-proof dairy and soya free Victoria Sandwich cake recipe. And then Slinky Dog sandwiches to go with the Toy Story plates and cups.
Minnie, Mickey, Lotso and Bullseye joined us for the party… and greedy Bullseye got a little bit excited about the Mickey cake!
This year the Disney Store are offering personalisations on a range of toys. This service costs £4.95 and makes the gift extra special.
Busby and H-Bear were sent a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with their names on, and they are now cherished members of the family – with Busby ensuring H-Bear has his in his cot every night! You can see the whole range of personalised gifts on the Disney Store website.
We were also sent a Lotso Bear and Bullseye from the Toy Story range. I may have adopted Lotso as my own… He is incredibly soft and cuddly AND he smells of strawberries!!! It’s definitely love!
Our Disney party was lots of fun! We’re huge Toy Story fans, so the addition of the Toy Story cups and plates were greatly received by Busby.
And the cake was welcomed by all!
All of the featured toys can be found on the Disney Store website. So if you’re looking for gifts for a Disney fan (big or small) I’d definitely recommend a visit. I’m off Christmas shopping to York next week, and I will definitely be visiting their store for a cuddle with a few Disney favourites of mine…
