Giveaway // Win with Aldi Mamia &

Nick and I went out for the first time in what feels like forever on Saturday night. I was a finalist for two Northern Blog Awards, so we got dressed up, left the children with grandparents and had a wonderful night out in Manchester!

Having two children and busy lives means that date nights are now few and far between, so it’s always appreciated when we have the time to go out just the two of us. Quality time together is so important. Although, to be fair, we do spend most of the time away from the children talking about said children, but even that’s a treat when it’s accompanied by dinner and wine!

We’re not the only ones missing out on a regular date-night; research from Aldi Mamia suggests that 49% of new parents say date-night is a thing of the past because budgets are tighter.

The average newborn’s nappy needs changing up to 12 times a day (gosh, I remember those days well! Eat, sleep, change, repeat!), so reviewing the nappy brand you use could be a really simple way to save money. Parent’s who use the nation’s leading nappy brand could spend as much as £613.20 on nappies in the first year alone (based on 14p per nappy, £1.68 per day and £11.76 per week).

However, by swapping to Aldi Mamia there are huge savings to be made:

The Mamia nappies cost less than 5p per nappy (4.6p in fact), so Aldi Mamia parents are spending as little as 55p per day, £3.85 a week, £16.50 a month, and just £198 per year in comparison! It’s a massive yearly saving of £415.20, or £34.60 a month – enough to afford a babysitter for a few hours so you can have a very well-deserved evening off!

Not only are Aldi Mamia’s nappies cheaper than the leading brand, they’ve been awards Gold for four consecutive years at the Mother & Baby Awards in the Best Disposable Nappy category! They were also awarded 10 accolades at the Prima Baby Awards 2016, with the Newborn and Ultra Dry Nappies taking Gold in the nappy categories. And the cherry on top is that the entire range of nappies has been endorsed by the Good Housekeeping Institute!

For those of you desperate for a night out, I have a fantastic giveaway that you will LOVE! In collaboration with Aldi Mamia and, you could win a month’s worth of fantastic Aldi Mamia nappies and redeemable vouchers with national babysitting service (worth £34.60, the monthly saving on Aldi Mamia nappies), so you can treat yourself to an evening off!

Just enter using the Rafflecopter below! T&Cs apply. UK entrants only please. Giveaway ends on Monday 9th October at 00:00, where one winner will be selected at random and contacted within 7 days of the giveaway ending.
