What the Children Wore // JoJo Maman Bébé AW17

We are huge fans of JoJo Maman Bébé childrenswear here at Make, Do & Push! HQ. Their clothes are always so classically designed and incredible quality. So when a package arrived on the doorstep containing garments from their amazing autumn/winter ’17 range, I couldn’t wait for the weather to cool so we could start wearing them!

Thankfully the weather in the Lake District was rather autumnal and chilly (hoorah for woollies!), so we put the clothes to the test on our holiday last week.

Busby was sent two outfits from the AW17 range.

First up is this beautiful pinafore and floral Peter Pan collar combo, which I absolutely adore! Busby owns SO many of these JoJo Peter Pan tops; I can’t resist them and they’re often on special offer. They wash incredibly well, and always smarten up any outfit.

The Woodland pinafore is made from soft cotton corduroy, and has the most gorgeous appliquéd scene on the base of the skirt.

It fastens with buttons at the top of the dress, or by buttons running down the back.

I love how the two garments coordinate perfectly with each other.

The Navy Woodland Cord Pinafore Dress costs £22, and the Peter Pan collar tee (Navy Ditsy) costs £12. Combined, they make the ideal outfit for every occasion – from a birthday party, to day-to-day activities, such as a woodland jaunt!

Busby’s second outfit is the beautiful Rhubarb Cat Dungaree dress, which I’ve teamed with the navy Breton Stripe Long Sleeve Top.

This outfit is so much fun! I love the contrasting spotty lining, and the little cat pocket is the cutest!

The rhubarb colour is so vibrant and unusual.

The Breton top is made from a lovely thick cotton and fastens with two buttons on the shoulder.

Once again, the quality is fantastic, and the garments wash so well. The Breton top costs £12, and the Rhubarb Cat Dungaree dress is £22.

Busby wears age 5-6 years in all of these photos, which fit well with growing room.

Now, on to H-Bear’s amazing outfits!

H-Bear was sent the most divine tank top, which I utterly adore. If I could dress H solely in tank tops, I probably would; he looks so delicious! I’m currently lusting after the fox one on the JoJo website, which I may have to purchase in advance of Christmas…

The tank top is made from a lambswool mix, making it super soft to wear. He loves pointing out the various transport – I mean, trains AND cars?! What more could this little chap want in an outfit?!

I’ve teamed the tank top with a Breton striped top (the same one Busby is wearing above), and these gorgeous cotton twill trousers, which have the most adorable red-striped jersey lining!

The Transport Fair Isle Tank Top costs £20, the Breton striped top is £12, and the Jersey Lined Twill Trousers trousers are £18.

The final item H-Bear was sent is this utterly beautiful Indigo Fox Fair Isle Jumper, which has caused quite a reaction every time I’ve posted it on Instagram.

The jumper is made from a cashmere mix, so as you can imagine, it is so so soft!

I love the indigo blue shade – like the rhubarb of Busby’s dress – it’s such a fun, different colour from everything else on the highstreet for children. The Fair Isle inspired fox knit is very on trend, and H-Bear continues to request his ‘ox’ jumper!

The Indigo Fox Fair Isle Jumper costs £23. If you love foxes, you must check out JoJo’s AW17 range and they are EVERYWHERE!

H-Bear wears size 2-3 years in the tops and jumpers featured in this post, and size 18-24 months in the trousers. I’m very glad I sized down for the trousers, as 2-3 years would have swamped him!

Explore the whole AW17 range on the JoJo Maman Bébé website. JoJo have so many gorgeous garments this season, so the range is most definitely worthy of a naptime spree.
