I have this thing about Christmas Jumpers… It’s not even December yet, and already the children have quite a collection starting for the month ahead! We were kindly sent these fab Christmas Jumpers from Outfit Kids, so I took advantage of our new found love of the garden at the weekend to capture them.
Our garden has probably been a bit neglected for the past few months, as we tend to go for a walk in the woods or into the village, rather than play outside in our own space. But since the arrival of Bertie, we have been out there every single day – and I’m beginning to view it in a different way.
The children loved being out there on Sunday. Nick was on a cooking course, so I took a cup of tea outside with Busby, H-Bear and Bertie and we all played hide and seek. I say ‘played hide and seek’, what I really mean is that H-Bear followed Busby into her hiding place, shouted the numbers out along with me as I counted, and as soon as I’d finished, exclaimed that he’d ‘found’ Busby in the bushes.
As you can imagine, this did not go down particularly well with our eldest and so we tried to encourage him to hide by himself… Which he attempted a couple of times. However, Bertie was then on the case to find his buddy.
I guess, at the end of the day, the important thing is that everyone had fun! And the children discovered a few new hiding spots thanks to our furriest explorer.
Busby was sent this fab navy Polar Bear Jumper, which is super cute and very cosy! In the words of Agnes in Despicable Me “It’s SO fluffy!”. The polar bear design is adorable, and Busby loves the sequin crown. It’s a great alternative jumper – and can be worn all winter because it’s not specifically ‘Christmas’.
She wears size 6 years, which fits well with a little room to grow.
H-Bear was sent this wonderful Black Stag Christmas Jumper, which again isn’t your typical ‘Christmas’ jumper and can be worn all winter.
He loves that his jumper has a “Missmas Deer” on. All the heart eyes – I never want him to learn how to pronounce things properly!
H-Bear wears size 2-3 years, which again fits well with room to grow.
Both jumpers are machine washable (woop!), and retail between £16-18 (although they’re in the sale at the moment). Outfit Kids have some ace Christmas Jumpers this year, so pop on over to the Dorothy Perkins website for a peruse.
