Interiors // Botanical lusting with

I’m in love with everything floral and botanical at the moment. I find myself lusting over Pinterest; wishing that I could cover our house in beautiful, subtle greens, mini terrariums on every surface, and giant plants in every corner. An orangery filled with various roses; rambling and reaching.

And then I remember that I have two children – and a puppy on the way – and that an orangery probably wouldn’t suit our style of house… nor do we have the budget to build one!

So I make do.

Our local florist sells beautiful flowers for less than £3 a bunch, and I often find myself forgoing my occasional weekly daily flat white in favour of a bunch (or three).

I’ve also found myself lusting over floral wallpaper recently. And so I was intrigued when I discovered site, which has a plethora of wallpaper, but also wardrobe stickers, fridge stickers, wall stickers, prints and self-adhesive wallpaper!

You could spend hours browsing the millions of different designs, so I decided to type ‘Botanical Illustrations’ into the search bar to see what would come up. These are just four examples which caught my eye:

Aren’t they amazing? I think the first is my favourite! Can you imagine a statement wall in that print? Although, to be honest, I would happily cover the whole house in that pattern.

If you’re not brave enough to start decorating the walls, then also do a range of stickers, and table and desk veneers. I love the idea of changing the top of our dining table to suit the seasons… How fabulous are these?
