Christmas // Sylvanian Families Baby Sleigh Ride Set

It’s no secret that Busby and I love Sylvanian Families! It’s her birthday in a couple of weeks, and her presents from us are entirely comprised of Sylvanian-related goodies. I can’t wait for her to open the Lighthouse… and H-Bear has got her the little Pizza Delivery Driver that she’s been asking for!

The Baby Sleigh Ride Set includes two baby Sylvanians in fancy dress – a rabbit dressed as Father Christmas and a poodle puppy dressed as a Rudolph. Aren’t they adorable??

It also includes the cutest sleigh, presents, Father Christmas sack and toys for the baby Sylvanians. The trees are from H-Bear’s train set.

The sleigh is connectable to the pumpkin carriage from the Halloween set, which we reviewed back in October.

Busby’s face when the set arrived was a picture! She was SO excited! She hasn’t stopped playing with them since they arrived.

I’ve said this before, but Sylvanian Families are so amazing for encouraging imagination play. The set is now up in her bedroom with all of her other Sylvanian Families and she’s been playing ‘Christmas Eve’ with the sleigh – making it fly over the houses and the characters deliver presents. One of her favourite things to do after school is to take herself up to her bedroom and sit and play with her Sylvanians. It’s a great activity for her downtime post-school.

H-Bear has also started to take an interest in Busby’s collection (much to her dismay) and he can usually be found in her room, tinkering away, while Busby is in the bath.

The Sylvanian Families Baby Sleigh Ride Set would make the most perfect Christmas treat for any Sylvanian Families loving child (or adult). The set retails at around £16 – find out more on the Sylvanian Families website.

These are so adorable and such gorgeous pictures too. I used to love Sylvanian families as a child and it’s so nice to see my girls playing with them now! X
