Review // Cosatto Hubbub ISOFIX Car Seat

We have spent a few months putting the Cosatto Hubbub ISOFIX Car Seat through its paces. It has travelled all around the country, joining us on our adventures – from Hampshire, to Sussex, to the Lake District and back to Yorkshire, and it’s hands down the best car seat we’ve ever had the pleasure of reviewing.

We were sent the Hubbub in the Hustle Bustle print, which we knew H-Bear would love as he can’t resist a bus or car. It also comes in five more awesome prints (including the AMAZING new llama print!), so there’s something for the tastes of every little person.

The thing I love most about Cosatto is their ability to create fantastic, vibrant prints season after season. There’s always something for everyone, and they never disappoint in their creativity.

The Hubbub is a car seat that just works. It’s a Group 123 seat, so it’s designed for ages 9 months to approximately 12 years (9kg to 36kg). It grows with your child; from the fantastic 5-point plus safety harness with quick-release button, to seat belt from approximately 4-5 years of age. It also means that there is no need to buy any separate seats for your child as they grow.

The headrest has 6 different positions for extra comfort, meaning that your child will be comfortable from 9 months until they grow out of the seat.

The Hubbub is also an ISOFIX car seat – so it’s incredibly easy to fix into the car and means that taking it in and out is incredibly simple. The top tether makes the seat even more safe; giving you extra peace of mind.

Research shows that more than 70% of children wriggle out of their car seat harnesses, which is quite a scary fact! The 5-point plus™ anti-escape system is rather fantastic, and is (mostly) Houdini-proof; in tests, 9 out of 10 children could not wriggle out of their Cosatto Anti-Escape System!

H-Bear has managed to wriggle his arms out of the harness a few times, but can’t figure out how to escape the bottom part of the harness, so we’ve had time to pull over and sort him out before he has fully escaped (we really should have called him Harry).

Now, this car seat has been through rather a lot. Over the summer, it was on the receiving end of a fair amount of sick thanks to chicken pox and allergic reactions – and thankfully the covers are very easy to remove, completely machine washable and equally as easy to put back on!

As with all Cosatto products, the Hubbub comes with a 4 year guarantee as standard.

I can’t recommend the Hubbub ISOFIX Car seat from Cosatto enough. We have been so impressed, and this year it will continue to join us on our adventures to Sussex, the Lakes again, hopefully Wales and perhaps even Scotland!

The Cosatto Hubbub ISOFIX Car Seat in Hustle Bustle costs £199.95 and you can view the whole range on the Cosatto website.
